What to expect in your first therapy session…

You did it, you booked your first therapy appointment! You might feel relieved, excited, or nervous. I’m here to set your mind at ease. At this point, you’ve completed your intake paperwork and you should have a link to your first session sitting in your inbox.

So pick a safe, comfortable, confidential place in your home (or office or car!). Bring whatever you need to make this a relaxing experience…blankets, tissues, a cup of tea or coffee. Yes, babies (and pets) are allowed and welcome…or we can try to find a nap time appointment and hope for the best. As a mom, I’m fully aware that this doesn’t always go according to plan! But we will do our best to make therapy accessible to you in this season and help you get the most out of it.
